I created this unit study for my engineering obsessed kid after searching for hours to find something to answer all of his questions about bridges.

Many stem lessons focus all on the analytical information leaving children bored and uninspired, so I set out to create a beautiful unit study that inspires the minds of young stem kids and captures their attention. My team and I spent months lovingly creating original watercolor and pencil style illustrations for this unit study to inspire the minds of future engineers.

Project Name

Bridges Around the World unit study dives into the engineering and artistry of the six main types of bridges plus one more type (because it was too cool to leave out) to excite your STEM kids. This unit study includes activities and lessons for 3rd-12th grades.

This 160 page unit study includes hands on crafts to create each of the bridges they are studying, cut and paste anatomy sheets with different parts of the main type of bridges, bridge locator game, road trip flash cards for the main type of bridges and more.

The lessons go in depth on the different types of bridges, what makes them different from the other types, the anatomy of the bridge, and the famous bridges of that type around the world. By incorporating geography and vocabulary activities in this unit study this unit study goes beyond just STEM while keeping your kids glued to the pages.

The fun activities include crosswords, word matches, and writing prompts.
